Michael Dobinson Michael Dobinson studied composition at York University (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Honours Music) and the University of Western Ontario (Masters of Music, Composition). His works have been performed by the Composers Orchestra, the Ardeleana Trio, and on various concert programmes in both Toronto and London. He won the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra's Twentieth Anniversary Composers' Compeititon of 1995. The winning work, Studying Subatomic Particles from the Sun for Those Who Enjoy the Outdoors, was premiered in May of 1996. Mr. Dobinson has been Business Manager of MusicWorks magazine and General Manager of the Canadian Electronic Ensemble. At the present time, he is a freelance composer, an internet consultant and an active member of the CEE.
